Treatment may include calcium and vitamin D supplementation, weight-bearing exercise, lifestyle modifications, and medications such as bisphosphonates, selective estrogen receptor modulators (SERMs), monoclonal antibodies, or anabolic therapies, depending on the individual's needs and healthcare provider's recommendations.
