[S3E6] Sweetheart, I Have To Confess [PATCHED]
There is a place in St. Timothy's churchwhere sinners go to confess their sins. And once they're done, they expect absolution. But the truth is, not all confessions are worthy of such forgiveness. Most who unveil hidden agendas deserve the condemnation they receive. Most who disclose vengeful motives merit the punishment that follows. Only the truly repentant have any rightat all to expect a second chance... Which is why it's best to think twice before you confess... Especially if you don't know what it is you're confessing to.

With Kryze hostage, Merrik left the room and brought her to the Coronet's bridge, where he mercilessly gunned down the crew. The traitorous senator took the ship out of hyperspace and contacted Pre Vizsla, who told Merrik that reinforcements were en route. Three Confederate boarding ships soon entered the space around the Coronet and lodged themselves into the Coronet's hull, deploying numerous B2 battle droids. As the clones engaged the droid forces, Obi-Wan found Kryze and Merrik on the bridge, but Merrik was unfazed by the Jedi and told him that he had wired the Coronet's engines to explode if he pressed a remote in his possession. Satine pleaded that Kenobi not attempt to free her with so many lives at stake, and Kenobi was forced to follow Merrik at a short distance as the senator brought Kryze with him to the Separatist boarding ships. There, Merrik sardonically told Kryze to say goodbye to Kenobi. Believing she would not see him again, Satine told Obi-Wan that she loved him, and after hesitating, he confessed that, had she asked, he would have left the Jedi Order for her.[11]
Merrik was annoyed by Kryze and Kenobi's sudden display of affection, but as he attempted to drag the duchess away, she dug her heel into his foot and freed herself from his grip, taking his blaster in the process. Though defenseless, Merrik mused that he would detonate the Coronet's engines if he could not take Satine hostage. He also noted that if either Satine or Obi-Wan killed him, they would prove they were a hypocrite and a murderer, respectively. Confident in his victory, Merrik dared either of them to strike him down and prove themselves a cold-blooded killer. Aiming the blaster at[11] her old friend,[12] Kryze's finger wavered close the trigger. Before Merrik could press the button on his remote, he was impaled through the back by Skywalker. Satine threw the blaster aside and approached Obi-Wan to talk about their confessions of love, but she was interrupted by CC-2224 and the other clone forces. Kryze defeatedly told Obi-Wan that she had to return to the other dignitaries, and he responded that they would have to speak another time.[11]
Satine and Obi-Wan's anger towards each other peaked aboard the Coronet, where their arguments turned into a physical standoff. Once they came under attack from the probe droids, however, they put aside their differences and fought side-by-side again. As the situation escalated and Kryze was taken captive by Prince Merrik, the duchess broke from her stalwart facade and confessed to Kenobi that she had loved him since the civil war and still did, and he admitted to her that he would have left the Jedi Order for her had she simply asked. Despite opening up to each other about how they felt for the first time, they didn't get a chance to speak about it further as Satine had to focus on her diplomacy.[11] In her struggle to preserve the peace and neutrality she had brought to Mandalore, Kryze inadvertently pushed Obi-Wan away, but he remained at her side even through her anger and difficulty with Republic officials.[10]
